Engineering

Built like a systems company.

115 is software first. The harness is a production platform we designed and operate ourselves — engineered for speed, reliability, and the kind of autonomy that lets a single trader, or a multi-node desk, run a real book around the clock. In pre-alpha research preview.

Real-time execution engine

An event-driven core that ingests market data, runs strategy logic, and routes orders in real time — with deterministic state we can replay and audit down to the fill.

A time machine for strategies

Before anything trades, it runs through our walk-forward lab — a deterministic replay of history that optimizes on one window and proves out on the next, rolling forward across years and regimes. An edge has to survive out-of-sample, not just look good in a backtest.

Self-optimizing models (beta)

A new generation of models, now in beta, that re-optimize every day — the system learns from each session's results and adjusts, with a human in the loop. Recursive self-improvement, applied to a live book.

Agentic operations

Specialized AI agents research, backtest, and help operate the desk — with a human in the loop where it counts. The system is built to learn from its own results, not just run a fixed rule.

Data we build ourselves

Our research runs on datasets and alternative-data pipelines we build and curate in-house — including real-time market sentiment signals we engineer ourselves. Signal that has to be built, not bought off a shelf.

Built for speed

Infrastructure engineered for low latency and uptime, run close to where the markets move — so the system reacts in time, every session.

Risk & reliability

Position limits, drawdown controls, and kill-switches are part of the core, not bolted on. The platform runs unattended, recovers cleanly, and escalates only when something truly needs a human.

Market access

Strategies execute through a prime broker over hardened, monitored connectivity built to stay up through the trading day.

Observability

Every order, position, and decision is logged and monitored, so we always know exactly what the system did and why — and can prove it.
